Smooth Sunset - Fort Fisher, NC - Prints

I took this at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area along the Cape Fear River at sunset. The pier stretched out into water so smooth it looked like glass, catching every bit of color in the sky and doubling it below.

What struck me most was how still everything felt. No chop, no harsh light — just that soft end-of-day glow reflecting perfectly off the surface. The lines of the pier, the warm sky, and the mirror image in the water all came together in one of those simple, quiet coastal moments I love to photograph.
