Marina Morning - Carolina Beach, NC - Prints

I took this at Snow’s Cut Marina on one of those perfectly clear coastal mornings where everything is just… blue. Blue sky, blue water, and sailboats sitting quietly in their slips with their booms reflecting in the calm surface.

There wasn’t much wind yet, so the water was smooth enough to double the masts and lines — which is what caught my eye. I love simple scenes like this. Clean light, strong reflections, and that peaceful, before-the-day-starts feeling.

Sometimes it’s not about drama. It’s just about noticing how beautiful “calm” can be.
