I was a Water Watcher for New River Conservancy, I get so excited every time I see this to see the amazing restoration work they’ve done along the banks of the New River. It's one of my favorite areas to spot Great Blue Herons. This was also chosen as a cover on Spotify for a song about Ashe County.
